A camping trip!

Daddy took Harry and I camping a couple of weeks ago in the New Forest. We went with Marie and Charlie and Hannah and Tom. We had our tea in a pub and then slept the night in our tent. I went to sleep very late that night as I was having so much fun!

The next morning when I was eating my breakfast I got stung by a horrible wasp on my lip! I am now very nervous if I see any wasps or bees near me.

Paultons Park

We went to Paultons Park a few Sundays ago. It was nice and sunny all day and I got to go on lots of fun rides.

Now I am two!

I celebrated my second birthday a few weeks back. Daddy was still recovering from his horrible Swine Flu but I still managed to have a fun day! We had lots of visitors, Nanny and Grandad came over, as did Lisa, Abbie, Ben, Charlie, Hannah and Nanny Peggy. We had a McDonalds for tea and got to do lots of playing in the garden. I even got to blow out the candles on my Peppa Pig cake!

Abbie's Sports Day!

We went along to watch Abbie in her nursery Sports Day. It was a lovely sunny afternoon and there were lots of races to watch. We even got to run in one of the races and I got a medal. I was quite a naughty boy though and kept running off as I wanted to play in the park!

Playing cricket!

Here is me attempting another sport - this time cricket! However, following in the football theme, I much prefer to hold the ball rather than hit it!

Harry's birthday

We were really lucky with the weather on Harry's birthday. After school Harry had some friends round for tea and we got the paddling pool and water slide out. We all had a great time and even after we all got dried I decided to get back on the pool again with my clothes on as I loved it so much!

Harry's party!

Harry had his 6th birthday party at Tri Lakes and I got to go as well (we left Maddie with Nanny and Grandad!). I have never been there before and I had a great time - even though it was boiling and I got all hot and sweaty!

I'm a cool dude!

Here's me being a sporty cool dude - not sure I've completely got the idea of football yet, I much prefer to hold the ball rather than kick it!

A new toy!

Mummy bought us some new sand for our sand table and Maddie and I both love it! I like making castles and shapes with the sand moulds. Maddie likes chucking the sand on the floor!
I am always trying to copy the things Harry does! Here is my latest trick - getting stuck on the climbing frame!

A holiday to Devon!

At the end of May we went on a Haven holiday to Devon Cliffs. We had great fun because Lisa, Marie, Danny, Abbie, Charlie and Ben came with us! I got to sleep in a big boy's bed for the first time (luckily Mummy and Daddy bought the bed guard to stop me falling out!) and I was really good, even though I was a bit poorly for some of the time!

We got to have a picnic on the beach and play with the sand. We went to the swimming pool as well and even went to the club house in the evening to watch the shows! I had fun dancing at the disco!

Going to a party!

I was lucky enough to be invited to Maddie's friend Alice's first birthday party! It was a bit awkward for Mummy as the party was at the time Maddie and I usually sleep, but we managed! I was a bit grumpy when I woke up and when Mummy got me changed but I soon cheered up at the party.
Mummy has finally been able to do a comparison between Harry and I (Harry was going to a party at about the same age as me). Don't we look alike!

Fireman Sam!

Here I am in my Fireman Sam pjs - getting in pracrice for when I am older and a real Fireman!

My first proper haircut!

I was really lucky that Auntie Sarah has been trimming my hair - but Mummy and Daddy decided that it was now time to visit the barber's like Harry does to have my first proper hair cut. I wasn't too keen on sitting on the chair on my own, so in the end I sat on Mummy's lap. I didn't like sitting still for too long, but Mummy was pleased with the end result!
(I have since been to the barbers again and I was much better behaved - I sat on my own in the chair and sat still for ages!)

Helping in the garden

I really like helping out in the garden - my favourite job is watering!

Playing with my sister!

Sometimes me and Maddie can play together quite nicely!Other times she just gets on my nerves!

Dressing up like a girl!

When we visited Uncle Ken's house a few months back, the weather was much warmer than Mummy had anticipated! Luckily Lisa let me borrow one of Abbie's tee shirts so I didn't get too hot!

The naughty step!

Today, I wasn't a very good boy! Maddie and I were both trying to play with our new V Tech table Clare gave us. Maddie is now pulling herself up, but isn't very steady, so when she grabbed something I wanted, I pushed her over and she hit her head on the side of the table. (She has a nice blue bruise on her forehead now!)
Mummy was very cross with me, and she took me to the Naughty Step (our bottom stair) and made me sit there for about 1 minute. I tried to get off once, but Mummy put me straight back on it! I was upset because I knew Mummy was cross with me. When Mummy said I could get off the step, I had to give Maddie a cuddle to say sorry.
I hope I don't have to sit on the Naughty Step too often - it's no fun!

A new table and chairs - and a bit of a disaster!

Ages ago now, Mummy bought a new table and chairs for the garden. I had great fun playing on it, and since it was such a nice sunny afternoon, Mummy and decided we would have an impromptu barbeque!
Daddy did all the cooking whilst Mummy cooked the potatoes and prepared the salad. Harry bought out the knives and forks and I got comfy sitting at my new table to eat my tea when disaster stuck! I fell backwards and split my head open on the row of bricks between the patio and the grass.
Blood poured everywhere and it was a very deep cut so Mummy and Daddy decided to take me up to Frimley Park. Nanny and Grandad rushed round to look after Harry and Maddie (Nanny Peggy supervised until they got here) and Mummy sat in the back of the car with me to make sure I didn't fall asleep (which I nearly did, scaring Mummy!)
When we got to Frimley we went to the Children's A and E department. I perked up no end when I saw all the toys they had for me to play with! I especially liked the toy kitchen! The lady doctor looked at my head and said it needed gluing back together, since she didn't think it would go back together on it's own! I wasn't very happy whilst the glue was applied, but luckily that only lasted a few seconds and then we got to go home.
Mummy and Daddy were very impressed that we had only been gone less than 2 hours, considering how busy the A and E department was. When I got home I showed my head to Harry and Nanny and Grandad and Nanny Peggy, who said I was very brave!

Cry baby!

I am getting very attached to Mummy now and if she goes somewhere without me (like to take Harry to school and I stay at home with Daddy!) I get very cross!

I can be a grump sometimes!

I think this picture sums up my grumpy mood!

A visit to the Farm

In the Easter holidays, we went to Bockett's Farm near Leatherhead. As well as our family, Marie, Charlie, Lisa, Abbie and Charlie came too.
We were really lucky with the weather and were able to eat our picnic outside.
I loved the play area and the toy cars and tractors they had.
I was also very interested in all the animals. We got to touch a rabbit and a lamb. I wasn't scared at all and I also liked watching the pigs and piglets!

Alice Holt Forest

In the Easter holidays, Mummy and Daddy took us to Alice Holt Forest. Nanny Peggy came as well!
We had a fantastic time running round the trail and playing on all the equipment. It was nice to have a rest in my buggy every now and again as well! I was very adventurous and tried lots of climbing and balancing and getting over rope bridges! They also had a huge play area filled with wooden play houses! I was worn out by the time we came home!

Sitting at the table!

Now that Maddie is bigger, she needs my high chair, so I have been promoted to sitting at the big table to eat me meals! I use my booster seat, and manage to make lots of mess, but I do feel like a big boy now!

Finding Easter Eggs!

On Easter Sunday everyone came round our house for an Easter Egg Hunt. Harry was very keen and was able to read all the labels the Easter Bunny had put on, so he knew who's egg was whos! I slightly missed the point of looking for the eggs, but I enjoyed running around the garden with Abbie and Charlie!
I also liked eating the chocolate afterwards!

My latest party trick!

Mummy has found out Harry's old wooden puzzles. I really like playing with them and there is two I can now do on my own! Mummy likes tipping all the pieces out and watching me put them all back again. I am so clever!

A new toy!

I have discovered the stereo in our lounge. I have worked out how to open the tape decks and I love pressing all the buttons!

I've had the pox!

Last Monday I woke up and I had what looked like a sty on my eye. However, when Daddy took my nappy off I had loads of spots everywhere! I had chicken pox! My spots came out until Thursday, I had them in my hair, and all over my tummy, back and arms and legs. This meant we couldn't go to toddler group all week, and no one wanted us round to play!

Mummy said she was pleasantly surprised that I coped really well as I wasn't that grumpy and didn't itch at all. I had Bircarbonate of Soda in my bath and aqueous calamine on my spots. Mummy kept me dosed up on Piriton as well and it definately did the trick!

My house in the garden!

As we have been having some nice weather there have been plenty of opportunities to play in thr garden. I love our play house and spend ages going in and out of it. I love it when someone peeps through the windows when I am inside!

My art work!

I was a very naughty boy last weekend. Whilst Mummy and Daddy were busy I borrowed Harry's coloured pencils and drew a picture. Shame it was on the wall! Daddy has painted over it now.

Fun in the bath!

The other Sunday when Abbie came round it was time for our bath. Whilst Lisa was feeding Ben Abbie decided to come upstairs with us and get undressed and joined us in the bath. We had great fun splashing around!

Playing in a box!

We had great fun playing in an empty box at the weekend!

I want to go to school!

Every morning Mummy gets all Harry's school stuff ready for when we go to school. I am very jealous though that I don't get to go to school yet so I twnd to borrow all Harry's stuff and walk around with it. I usually empty his book bag as well and try and eat his lunch!

Twins!

I have given my old clothes to Lisa for my nephew Ben to wear! I think we look like twins in this shirt!

Charlie's Party!

My nephew Charlie was 3 a couple of weeks ago and Harry and I went to his party at Connaught. I had a fantastic time in the ball pond and on the bouncy castle. I liked playing with Alfie and running about.
After we had a good play we went into the Youth Club and had a party lunch! I obviously wasn't full up after eating my plate of food because I went round and helped myself to the other plates as well!

The climbing frame

Now that the weather is better we have been able to get out in the garden. Since I wasn't walking last Summer, this has been my first opportunity to play in the garden. I love it! We have got two little playhouses which I love to go in and open and shut the door. We have got bubble cars I like to drive and we have got the climbing frame. Wow! - it didn't take me more than 20 seconds to climb up the ladder - there really is no stopping me! Getting down however is another matter!
We also get to play in the jeep and quad bike, although Harry has steer because I haven't worked out how to do that yet!

A delicious pudding!

My talking is coming on really well now, and Mummy can't believe how much I can understand. I can carry out simple requests now (go and get your shoes etc!) and I am trying to talk all the time! My favourite word is still "MUMMEE" but I can now call Buster (BAABAA) Harry (HARREEE) and say biscuit very clearly! I even managed DAYEE yesterday when Maddie had her Upsie Daisy top on! Another word I am very good at is "PUDDING". Mummy gave me a very delicious pudding the other night (bananas and chocolate custard). I have never had it before and it was so delicious I tried to get every last bit out of the bowl!

A new toy!

Mummy's washing maching broke a little while ago so she had to buy a new one. I love the new silver washing machine, it is much bigger than the old one (Mummy says it holds lots more washing!). Luckily it has a child lock on it so I can't mess up the cycle whilst it is running (like I could with the old one!).

I quite like getting all the washing in and out , especially when Mummy is in a hurry!

French Food!

Whilst I was in France I got to try some french food. I loved croissants and pain au chocolat! So much so that Mummy took a couple of pain au chocolat's from the hotel breakfast room so I could eat them during the day. They are very messy though!

My first trip abroad!!

Last month Mummy and Daddy took me to EuroDisney in Paris. This is the first time I have been abroad and I got my passport especially for the trip!

We had a very early start on friday morning and I only slept for about 20 minutes in the car going to Dover, even though it was 4am! I enjoyed running about on the boat and eating my breakfast and then we had a long drive to Paris. I slept for about 45 minutes (out of nealry 3 hours) and the rest of the time I was quite happy as long as I was eating!

We went straight to the park and I got to sit in my buggy and watch everything going on. Unfortunately it started to rain, so the raincover had to be put on (which I hate) so I screamed for about 10 minutes until I eventually fell asleep! Mummy and Daddy seemed to think I was the warmest person as I was snuggled up in my buggy in my snowsuit, blanket and raincover as they were all freezing!

After I woke up, Hannah, Harry, Mummy and I went on a rocket ride. However I wasn't very patient at queueing and we missed out on thr ride Harry and Hannah went on, so we had to wait for the next one, and by then Mummy was really fed up with me moaning and trying to run away! After a few more rides we decided to go back to the hotel. I loved seeing Charlie and Abbie and I had great fun running up the hotel corridors with them! After a quick change we went out for a meal in the Rainforest Cafe which was great fun. I must have been hungry as I ate a whole portion of chips to myself! We then went back to the hotel to go to bed and Mummy was worried that I wouldn't like sleeping in the travel cot, but as she had bought my pillow from home and I was so exhausted, I fell asleep in about 2 minutes!
We were up bright and early the next morning as we had booked breakfast with the characters at Cafe Mickey. They had these really cool Mickey Mouse highchairs and I managed to squeeze in quite a lot of food! I also enjoyed meeting all the characters and I was fascinated by their noses!

We then had a fantastic day around the park with Charlie and Abbie (and Lisa, Marie and Daddny as well). The sun was out and I was allowed out of my buggy quite a lot. I got to go on all the rides, my favourite was "It's a small world" as I really liked all the little dolls!

I enjoyed the parade and eating McDonalds for tea as well. All too soon it was Sunday morning and we had to go home. Harry and I were very well behaved in the car going home (Daddy didn't even have to stop so we were able to catch the earlier ferry) and Mummy and Daddy said they would take us away on holiday again!
